Dr Daniel Tutu Benefoh
Climate Change Unit – Environmental Protection Agency of Ghana
Dr Daniel Tutu Benefoh is the Ag Director at the Climate Change Unit of the Environmental Protection Agency of Ghana. Within the Agency, he is responsible for low carbon development, carbon markets and transparency issues. In this regard, he supports international climate change reporting, carbon markets and serves the UNFCCC Focal Point for Ghana.
He is also a technical lead person, Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) to the UNFCCC. Currently, he is involved in updating Ghana’s NDCs and policy advice on climate, establishing MRV and M&E systems for climate action, and mobilizing international finance for NDC implementation.
